@Salomao When you mean things you mean a Mastodon instance, or something else?

@sapadian A masto instance, yeah. My main worry is that a high tech barrier for setting up an instance would exclude some people who might otherwise really benefit from having their own instances, you know?

@Salomao I agree, I had mine setup through Docker, I just spun a VM up on Digital Ocean, but I tapped out. One I like the community I am in here, two I didn't have such a broad reaching topic to justify a whole instance. Three, I am working on other stuff now, and didn't want to half ass the administration and let my users down. I think it would be a great idea for someone to start this, charge a small monthly fee and toss some money back into Masto.

@Salomao I am hoping that @Gargron and friends take a look a streamlining deployments.
