@blackle @chobeat dunno about that. Echoed slogans on social media caused me to revise my neo-liberal beliefs years ago. Still do, as a matter of fact.

still, changing people's minds is useless if they don't act. The culture of words, the culture of slogans, convinced a whole generation that their opinions matter, that what they say and think can change the world. I still need to see it in action.

In the past, political proselitism worked in a totally different way but we believe that social slacktivism is a mirrored modern version of that, when it is not.

@chobeat @blackle From your argument, it logically follows that changing minds is not effective unless you've personally OK'd the method. That's narcissistic and typical of white, cis, male, liberal politics. Step back and stop knee-jerk disparaging methods you don't agree with.

Want to see people in action? Go where the action is. Get with the POC, queers, poor, and disabled folx doing work. Stop being a critical "ally". Get your hands dirty.
