YouTube says that I can't watch this video because "it contains content from MIT" and is thus "not available in your country". (A) It's OPEN course ware, and (B) I'm in Massachusetts, you fucking assholes

@bstacey not available here in the UK either, which begs the question, which country/ies *is* it available in?
@bstacey region locking videos is in itself ridiculous, this doubly so
@bstacey maybe they're having a tiff with mit over something and blocking mit stuff... around mit? 🤔
( probably not, tho.... )
@bstacey
have you tried
> mirror.cat
not sure how it works/searches but it mirrors youtube.
@bstacey seems *any* OCW from MIT is "not available" in my country. Admitted, I'm not in the US still sounds like a curious conception of openness.
That said, I'm fed up with these GAFAM fuckers.
@dataKnightmare @bstacey Replace "you" with "hook" in YouTube url, then you will be able to watch it.
@dataKnightmare @bstacey It will work on your computer, not sure for phone.
... I could literally, not figuratively, WALK to the room where that was filmed.
