gratifying to see that Harvard is just like every other university in that the beautiful buildings you see in pictures are all for administration/the classics/whatever and the science centre where 50% of students spend their time is a nightmare warren building
@tomharris At UMB, at least the new science building is one of the pretty ones they put on the brochures. (The old science building is a decaying red brick mass that does not have potable water.)
@bstacey @tomharris come and join us at university of Bremen, which is a very young university, so nearly all buildings are from the 70s and depending on your point of view either Triumphs of Brutalist Architecture or Ugly Sores Upon the Earth
