Yet another #atreus build, quite happy with the result https://icosahedron.website/media/rCbkAcJ0HWrrQ_o1VNg
Tried cold brew coffee recently. I was *very* skeptical at the idea at first, but it's actually delicious. You can sip little at a time for hours, which is an advantage. I end up drinking less coffee overall.
@technomancy interesting work on the atreus-deck. I was actually toying with the idea of using just my phone+ atreus on small trips (and rely on a remote box for most heavy lifting) . That would prolly give a bit more computing power and more apps, but yeah, you can't run postgresql on android for instance and it's a (mostly) closed ecosystem, unless you rely on something like sony opendevices. Looking forward to see where you go with this!
And we're talking about a tourist visa, he was invited to speak at a conference there.
An office mate got his US visa refused for having traveled to Iran in the past 5 years... That's harsh, I didn't imagine it was so extreme.
The swedish #keyboards enthusiasts scene is quite impressive. The discord is full of diy builds of all sorts and quite a lot of activity. I am going to my first local meetup in Malmo later today. Eager to see all this new switch types from kailh: box & speed. The former in particular seems quite interesting on paper, IP56 rating and apparently less wiggle than cherries and still cherry compatible I think. There also seem to be a proliferation of diy split ortho kbs with small form factor.

#fennel emacs mode is now available via MELPA!

posted on the ol' blog about how to do interactive development with live reloads in #fennel and how the module system works
Couldn't resist acquiring another atreus (second hand, the one seen here https://hartzell.github.io/atreus-build/). First board with matias quiet click switches too, very impressed with the quality and the quiet'ness. The difference in weight with the other steel case atreus I own is enormous, that + lack of noise makes it the perfect travel board for me.
@technomancy is it possible to have ctrl-h emit backspace at the firmware level on the atreus? I guess the answer is yes, but I am wondering how much of an effort that requires. If not I might just bind this at exwm level.
