got a fair bit of editing/writing done this evening! two whole chapters and a little snippet interstitial thing.
only about 6 or so chapters to go, depending on how i edit. this is 2nd draft so it's all about putting the parts in the right place.
another round after this with my editor's help to smooth out some tone and pacing problems and then i get to publish this thing.
