As mothers day approaches just a ~friendly reminder~ that not everyone has been blessed with a loving mother or has particularly good experiences there. Moms can be abusive just as much as dads can.
So please just avoid universal statements and guilt tripping about how everyone needs to love and appreciate their mother or should feel bad for not calling her. It's too prevelant this time of year. Some people are disowned, estranged, orphaned, or still dealing with a toxic harmful mother. Etc.

Yknow generally I find that whole response of "I wish I could fav this post more" a bit silly.
But as someone who had a truly genuinely horrific Father -and- Mother.
