@robey@mastodon.technology I think it's more "understands common GitHub-based PR flows and explicitly rejects them" rather than "doesn't understand git" but maybe I missed something.

he's definitely pushing a very opinionated workflow that's different from what people are used to, but it has a lot of advantages around decentralization. I think the assumption that everyone needs to reimplement GitHub's workflow is problematic.
